"Kajenglei" or "Leitreng" is a Manipuri headdress or Manipuri headgear, consisting of eighty to a hundred brass strips, worn especially by goddesses, female royalties, dancers, and brides. It is believed to be developed during the reign of King Gambhir Singh in the kingdom of Manipur.
Kajenglei, or Leitreng, is one of the traditional Attire in North East India and to be specific traditional dress of Manipur.
