"Kajenglei" or "Leitreng" is a Manipuri headdress or Manipuri headgear, consisting of eighty to a hundred brass strips, worn especially by goddesses, female royalties, dancers, and brides. It is believed to have developed during King Gambhir Singh's reign in the Manipur kingdom.
Kajenglei, or Leitreng, is one of the traditional Attire in North East India and, to be specific traditional dress of Manipur.
